THE CRAFT BEHIND THE CORPORATE LENS

A FILMMAKER’S PASSION FOR STORYTELLING IN INDUSTRY

“Every frame we shoot is more than just a visual, it’s an emotion, a journey, and a promise to tell a story worth remembering.”

MEHUL JOSHI,

BRAND BODHI & CO-FOUNDER OF TAGZ & TALEZZ

A PASSION BEYOND THE SCRIPT

At Tagz & Talezz, every corporate film is more than just a product, it's a labour of love. For Mehul Joshi, the founder and creative force behind the studio, making a corporate film isn't simply about putting together slick visuals or ticking off a checklist. It's about understanding the heartbeat of a business, translating it into a cinematic language, and delivering a final film that resonates with emotion, purpose, and authenticity.

Each new project begins with a blank canvas. No two industries, clients, or stories are the same. That’s what makes this journey both thrilling and humbling.

CONCEPTUALIZATION: UNDERSTANDING THE SOUL OF THE BRAND

The process starts not with cameras, but with conversations. Understanding the industry, target audience, and most importantly, the client’s vision forms the foundation.

Whether it’s Sigma Rotolining, operating in the highly technical field of chemical engineering, or Stream Design, specializing in elegant wood veneer manufacturing, the first step is always the same, listen.

What do they stand for?
Who are they speaking to?
What’s their “why”?

Each brand has its own language, some speak in precision, some in aesthetics, and some in legacy. At this stage, we dive deep into the product intricacies, plant operations, and even the people behind the process.

“It’s about becoming part of their world before we try to tell their story.”

— MEHUL JOSHI,

SCRIPTING: BLUEPRINT OF EMOTION AND INFORMATION

Once the essence of the brand is understood, we move into scripting. Here, we marry technical accuracy with emotional storytelling.

Take AFPL, a foundry dealing in centrifugal and ferrous casting, industrially rich, but visually challenging. We had to script a story that balanced engineering precision with visual drama. The aim was to make even molten metal and sand casting feel poetic.

Each script becomes the spine of the narrative. It defines voiceover tone, visual mood, duration, and emotional peaks. It’s where creative intent meets practical constraints.

SHOOT: THE GRIND BEHIND THE GLAMOUR

This is where the true cinematic magic happens, and also where it becomes most physically demanding. Shoots are typically 1–2 days long but feel like much more. They begin before the sun rises and often stretch past midnight. The days are long, but so is the adrenaline.

“Each film demands a different eye. We play with angles, lenses, and natural light to give even industrial setups a cinematic soul.”

— MEHUL JOSHI,

In factories and industrial plants, we often shoot in harsh lighting, limited spaces, and among heavy machinery. Safety comes first, but creativity is a close second. We choreograph shots like scenes in a feature film, camera movements, worker actions, even the machinery’s rhythm become part of the dance.

For Stream Design, the visuals were all about grace and texture, showcasing the beauty of wood grains, the elegance of precision cutting. Every angle was chosen to celebrate design. In contrast, Sigma Rotolining demanded bold, robust visuals, slow-motion shots of high-temperature processes, close-ups of polymer linings, and grand aerials of the plant.

EACH SHOOT IS DIFFERENT. EACH SHOOT IS DIFFICULT. BUT EACH SHOOT IS WORTH IT.

VOICE RECORDING: GIVING VOICE TO VISION

Once the visuals are captured, we move into voice recording. It may seem like a small step, but it's crucial to the film’s emotional tone.

The voice-over is the narrator, the guide, the soul behind the visuals. We carefully select voices that resonate with the brand’s tone, assertive for technical industries, warm for lifestyle-based brands, or inspiring for legacy-driven stories.

Voice modulation, pacing, and clarity are meticulously reviewed. Even the pause between two lines can make or break the mood.

EDITING: WHERE THE STORY COMES ALIVE

Editing is where everything starts to make sense. We stitch hours of footage into a compelling few minutes. This phase involves:

  • Selecting shots that best convey the message

  • Colour grading to give a visual tone (warm, cold, neutral)

  • Sound design that complements machinery hums, product interactions, or human activity

  • Background score that elevates emotions without overpowering the narration

The editing room is where sleepless nights are spent. Sometimes we rethink entire sequences. Sometimes a single cut takes hours of deliberation. The focus is always on creating a seamless emotional flow that matches the client’s identity and speaks to their audience.

“There are nights where I pause and ask myself, is this the story I’d want someone to remember? If the answer isn’t yes, I keep going.”

— Mehul Joshi

FINAL PRODUCT: MORE THAN JUST A FILM

When the final film is delivered, it’s not just a file, it’s a collaborative story, a piece of art, and a reflection of countless hours of thought, sweat, and passion.

Each film becomes a chapter in our own story. We don't just make corporate films. We create emotional experiences, built on the trust of clients who invite us into their world.

WHY IT MATTERS

In a world flooded with content, what makes a film memorable isn’t just production value, but emotional truth. At Tagz & Talezz, we believe even a corporate film can give goosebumps if made with care.

Our clients don’t just receive a video. They receive a story that:

  • Inspires investors

  • Connects with customers

  • Strengthens internal culture

  • Makes employees proud

  • Builds long-lasting brand memory

Final Words

Corporate filmmaking is hard. It’s physically tiring, emotionally draining, and creatively challenging. But for us, it’s also deeply fulfilling.

“When I see the final frame fade out, knowing that it represents a company’s spirit, a team’s work, and my own sleepless nights, it feels worth every second.”

— Mehul Joshi

Each project is a new adventure. New industry. New faces. New ways to see the world.

That’s the magic. That’s the mission. That’s Tagz & Talezz.
